NECESSARY EQUIPMENTS: Course book, pictures, cards, worksheets, word / PowerPoint-mail, team up, Google Docs, diigo, wiki spaces, Facebook, Web tools

OBJECTIVES:
At the end of the course; the students
·          will be able to work with students other than their friends
·          will be able to collaborate with students outside of their social circle
·          will be able to use digital tools in a collaborative way
·        will be able to use the internet to become more informed about the topic.
·        will be able to identify and describe objects.
·        will be able to identify location
·        will be able to identify people’s physical appearance.
·        will be able to describe people
·        will be able to ask for and give information about size.
·           will be able to use specific words and phrases about toys, countries, identifying objects.

3- Students choose their favorite topics and create teams via team up tool.

1-      Teacher explains the topic Toys; prepositions of places, colors, some adjectives (6 teaching hours) and the topic Physical Appearance; The countries, writing ID cards, describing people ( 5 teaching hours)
  via flash cards, course books, PowerPoint etc.  After each lesson, teacher gives students homework to create resources about the topics.


2- Teacher guides the teams to find links and make puzzles, games, quizzes etc.

3- Teacher helps the students  publish their presentations, view  others’ project and comment on them  two times



4- The teacher encourages the students to collaborate with other students use the Facebook, as much as possible.

5-Teacher encourages the students to record short updates and share with the rest of the class, and after each activity.
6- Teacher arranges large paper for students to group and stick their paper notes on.










1- The teams use the internet to collect information about their topics.
2- Teams use internet to find links and make online games, puzzles, simple quizzes related to the usage and form of the newly learnt point.
3- Students share their resources, games, puzzles quizzes, songs etc.  And they view presentations or projects of other students and comment on them.

4- Students search for related work, follow others and share their own resources. (via Facebook)

5-The students record short updates about their work progress
6- The teams group the information that they collected, online or stick them on a large paper.

3- Teacher encourages the students using wiki space and asks the students to publish their presentations, view others’ project and comment on them two times via team up tool.






  4- The teacher asks the students to collaborate with other students use facebook, as much as possible. The teacher also asks the parents to help the students use facebook at home           (According to our ‘Ministry of Education’ some websites are forbidden including twitter,  blogs and facebook with in the school network)

5-Teacher encourages the students to record short updates and share with the rest of the class, before or after each activity.

6- Teacher arranges large paper for students to group and stick their paper notes on. Ask them to do the activity two times.
1- The teams use the internet to collect information about their topics and The teams prepare PowerPoint presentations, online games and puzzles and simple quizzes related to the usage and form of the newly learnt point and present them to other teams in the classroom.
 2-Teams  use diigo to store the links                ( whenever necessary)
 3- Students share the presentations, games, puzzles, songs etc. via wiki spaces.
  And they view presentations or projects of other students and comment on them.

2-As the students are new to technology and English, teacher guides the teams to find free links and to make puzzles, games etc.



3-Teacher guides the teams how to use diigo.



4- teacher guides the students how to use wiki spaces and ask the students publish their presentations, view the others Project and comment them  two times

5- The teacher asks the students to collaborate with the other students using twitter, as much as possible. The teacher also asks the parents to help the students using twitter at home           (According to our ‘Ministry of Education’ some web sides are forbidden including twitter,  blogs and facebook
